Text is sent to our AI translation provider only when you request translation or explanation.

Start reading in three steps

Choose something you want to read, then set the language and ratio. Use your phone or computer browser.

  1. Paste your text

Use your own notes or an article excerpt you can use. Enter up to 10,000 characters at a time.

  2. Choose a language and ratio

Select a language and how much to mix in. Try 20–40% to start, then adjust to what feels comfortable.

  3. Read and switch sentences

Tap to switch between an original sentence and its translation. Open an explanation or listen to the translated sentence when needed.

Read what already interests you

Bring your own short text. A commute, a coffee break or a page from your journal can be a place to start.

A laptop, an open journal and a pen on a desk

With your own journal

Try a few sentences about your day. Familiar content gives you room to notice how another language expresses it.

Make room for another language

Mix complete sentences while keeping the original context nearby. Switch a sentence back whenever you want to check it.

Choose how much to mix in

Adjust the ratio from 0–100%, even after conversion. Remix to switch a different set of sentences at the same ratio.

I left home a little early today. There is a small café near the station. 窓のそばの席に座りました。 I opened my book over a cup of coffee. 静かな朝の時間が好きです。

The ratio describes how much language to mix, not your proficiency level. In short texts, the actual share of sentences may differ from the setting.

Switch a sentence back

Tap any sentence to switch between the original and translation without leaving the text.

Check meaning, grammar and vocabulary

Get an explanation of the translated sentence in the source language, with useful vocabulary. AI explanations can contain mistakes.

Listen to the translated sentence
