Agreement and scope

These terms govern your use of Mazelingo at mazelingo.co. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the acceptable use policy. Our privacy policy describes how information is handled. You must have the legal capacity or appropriate guardian permission required to use the service and enter a paid agreement.

The service

Mazelingo is a browser-based language learning tool for sentence-based mixed reading, AI translation and explanation, browser speech and local reading history. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be checked before relying on it. We do not guarantee a learning result or ownership of AI-generated output.

Only currently available features are included in the service. Reading history is stored in the current browser and is not currently synced between devices. Clearing site data can remove that history; keep your own copy of important material.

Accounts and your content

Provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain the rights you hold in submitted text. You grant the limited permission needed for us and the configured AI providers to process it and deliver the functions you request. Do not submit material you cannot lawfully use or unnecessary confidential and sensitive information. Our product branding, code and original site materials remain protected by the rights held by their owners.

Plans, test mode and live billing

Current prices and feature availability appear in the homepage pricing section. Plus is listed at JPY 780 per month and Pro at JPY 1,480 per month. The checkout total, billing currency, taxes and renewal terms must be shown before a real purchase is confirmed.

At present, Plus and Pro checkout use Waffo test mode and do not charge real money. Translation and AI explanations use one credit balance, metered by input characters and rounded up per request; explanation input includes original context. Failed requests are refunded with the original credit expiry. Signup credits are a one-time gift with the amount and validity shown on the page. Subscription credits are issued per billing period and expire at its end without rollover. Test purchases check the integration and do not constitute a real paid entitlement or a financial payment.

When live subscriptions become available, they are billed in advance and renew automatically each month until canceled. Before charging, we will identify the live environment and the available paid features and limits. A material change to an existing subscription price or paid terms will be communicated before it takes effect; a new price will not change an already completed charge retroactively.

Waffo provides the hosted checkout as Merchant of Record. A live transaction is also subject to the buyer terms displayed by Waffo during checkout. We do not collect card numbers directly on this website.

Cancellation and refunds

Manage automatic renewal from account billing. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally preserves access for the rest of the paid period. It does not by itself refund a completed payment. Availability and misuse

We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend features, and may restrict accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service or other users. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact support. If we materially fail to deliver a paid service, contact us for a remedy under the refund policy and applicable law.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude guarantees not expressly stated and liability for indirect losses. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or intentional misconduct where applicable.
